The all-star Mingus Big Band continues to explore and celebrate the boundless musical legacy of its namesake, composer/bassist Charles Mingus, who died in 1979. Their return to Yoshi’s coincides with Mingus’s 86th birthday (b. April 22, 1922)—an extra reason to come revel in the music.
