On this night a band called Elephone was performing for the CD release of The Camera Behind The Camera Behind The Camera. I will say I was not disappointed, these guys rocked the house with a sound that mixes My Bloody Valentine with U2 (pre "WAR"), and some other stuff that I can't put my finger on. With haunting vocals and driving guitar these guys are on my go to list. " |

The crowd was made up of hipster kids with their cool hair and slick cloths, and people that were dressed in full masquerade garb. Standing in the middle of this crowd I had a feeling this might be good one and I have to admit that it was. With their dashes of folk, garage rock and a heavy European sound, they opened my eyes and ears and made me get lost in their lyrics. " |
