Lorri Ungaretti, author of Legendary Locals of San Francisco’s Richmond, Sunset, and Golden Gate Park, is celebrating the publication of her new book with a talk and signing at the Sunset Branch Library! Meet the author and discover the fascinating stories of unique individuals and groups, past and present, who have had a lasting impact on the community.
About the author: Lorri Ungaretti is a native San Franciscan who grew up in the Sunset District. For the past 12 years, Ungaretti has volunteered for organizations committed to researching and preserving local history and she currently serves on the board of directors for both the Western Neighborhoods Project and the San Francisco History Association. This is Ungaretti’s fourth book with Arcadia Publishing and her fifth on the history of San Francisco’s west side.
