WHAT: McEvoy Ranch, one of the largest U.S. producers of estate-grown, certified organic extra virgin olive oil, located in the rolling hills of Marin County, invites yogis to attend “Flow into Fall,” a morning of relaxation and wellness in celebration of National Yoga Month on Saturday, September 17 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy a 75-minute yoga practice led by Maile Sivert, renowned yoga instructor and owner of San Francisco studio The Mindful Body; seasonal bites from the Ranch’s organic garden paired with McEvoy Ranch’s 2015 Rosebud Rosé and a garden stroll through the Ranch’s fragrant gardens led by guest Aromatherapy expert, Alice Encinas, an enlightened plant and product educator. Additionally guests will experience an aromatherapy DIY workshop, where they can create an essential oil hydrosol to take home — customized to meet his or her individual skincare needs. After the event, guests are welcome to stay and shop in the charming on-site retail space or relax and enjoy tastes of the Ranch’s estate wines for $15.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats, as these will be in short supply.
McEvoy Ranch’s public events, tours and wine tasting appointments offer guests a rare opportunity to stroll through the olive orchards and vineyards to experience the breathtaking beauty of the sustainably-farmed 550-acre ranch located in the Marin County hills west of Petaluma.
