In honor of the crisp holiday season in the Bay Area, the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company has created a big, malty winter warmer called Sneaky Peat Ale. Guests are invited to don their funkiest holiday sweater and join Brewmaster James Costa in the bar for the release of this brand new ale. This winter’s seasonal beer will be a strong Scotch ale (or Wee Heavy) with Scottish peated malt that has been smoked, with approximately 8% abv. The Brewing Company will award a special prize for the “Funkiest Sweater†and will also have little gifts for everyone who shows their funky sweater spirit, while dancing along with Spill The Wine, a great group of young rockers, from 7 – 10 p.m.
