MATT LANGE

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Harlot (see times)
Matt Lange has become a name synonymous with attention to detail, precision, and musical craftsmanship, all without losing sight of emotional impact. Mattʼs musical pedigree veers strongly from the typical path of the modern electronic musician; from singing in a boys’ choir to later playing lead guitar in a metal band, his influences are as varied as they are numerous.
His recent releases through Anjunadeep have been supported by many prominent figures in dance music, including Richie Hawtin, John Digweed, Sasha, Above & Beyond and Annie Nightingale. Then there is BT, who hand-picked Matt to co-program and engineer the critically acclaimed, Grammy-nominated album “These Hopeful Machines”. Matt’s recent accolades include delivering official remixes for pop superstar Usher as well as the Halo 4 video game soundtrack, co-writing/producing acts including VersaEmerge (Fueled By Ramen/Atlantic) and Glenn Morrison — for whom he earned a Platinum record — and composing and producing original music for the newest Internet Explorer TV and web advertisement. He has also just completed a film score for Fox Digital’s forthcoming ETXR.
In addition to his production talents, Matt’s DJ sets are notable for their musicality, diversity, and depth. In addition to festival plays at EDC Las Vegas, TomorrowWorld, WMC, and SXSW, he has appeared at notable clubs across North America including Avalon (Hollywood), Webster Hall (NYC), Exchange (LA), New City Gas (Montreal), Mansion (Miami), Hoxton (Toronto), Voyeur (San Diego), Ruby Skye (San Francisco), and more.
