Dear Tango Dancers,
On Sunday, June 8th, Marcelo Varela & Analía Vega are great Argentine Folklore, Tango dancers and instructors. They will teach a workshop in Chacarera at Studio Gracia on Sunday, June 8th.
Chacarera is an Argentine Folk dance originated from the province of Santiago del Estero, Argentina. Chacarera is often danced in a milonga/tango party as a break/cortina.
Marcelo & Analía will teach the zapateo & zarandeo with great details in this two hours workshop; for all levels, drop in welcome & no partner necessary.
They are performing around 10:30 pm.

Dancers in Forever Tango and Tango Review, in Alan Parker's Evita, Marcelo Varela and Analia Vega teach at the "Escuela Argentina de Tango" in Buenos Aires, they present their dance in the most prestigious milongas in Buenos Aires and give workshops the world over. They danced folklore since childhood and learned tango from the most reverenced - Ernesto Carmona, Norma Gomez Tomasi, Graciela Gonzalez along with others.
