Start the morning joining in exercises and then watch dramatic swordplay by Jing Cai Tai Chi Team
10:15–11:30am
Be dazzled by the gorgeous glittering costumes and traditional dances of The San Francisco Sunset Recreation Center Dance Troupe
11:30am–12pm
Be charmed by the performance of Rosa Parks Elementary School Children
1–1:30pm
Thrill to the dancing and drumming of the White Crane Lion Dancers
All Performances take place in the San Francisco County Fair Building Auditorium with the Lion Dancers ending their performance in the Entry Garden just inside the Main Gate of San Francisco Botanical Garden.
11am–2pm
Make children's garden crafts with San Francisco Botanical Garden Society and cultural crafts with Square & Circle Club. All ages.
12:30–1pm and 1–1:30pm
Enjoy a special Story Time reading with Oliver Chin that celebrates the customs, traditions, food and lore from Lunar New Year. Ages 4-8.
Crafts and Story Time take place in the Entry Garden just inside the Main Gate of San Francisco Botanical Garden.
All Performances and Activities are FREE. Before or after the celebration explore the Garden and see Magnificent Magnolias in bloom!
