After moving to Iceland in 2010, Bay Area native Ryan Karazija wrote and recorded Low Roar’s debut with the help of Grammy winning producer Andrew Scheps (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Adele). Releasing the album in November 2011, Karazija recruited drummer Logi Guðmundsson and the two toured Europe extensively, including appearances at Iceland Airwaves and ATP Festival. Now with Leifur Björnsson on keys, Low Roar’s sophomore release “0” featuring Icelandic darlings Amiina on strings, is enjoying early acclaim.
