Duluth, Minnesota’s Low have been a band (according to the guy writing this note, ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME) for over twenty years, and director Philip Harder has been there along with them every step along the way, and together they’ve made music videos and short films together, filming on ice, in railroad yards, and in rapidly disintegrating rooms. For LOW MOVIE, Harder went back into the vaults and reassembled all of his 16mm negatives, including outtakes, new material mixed with old, much of which has never been seen by anyone, including the band. Dir: Philip Harder. 2013. Digital. 70 mins.
