Love Generation is a monthly party designed to feature top house music artists. Recently we’ve brought you Dirty Vegas, The Disco Fries, Dave Aude, Mischa Daniel, JJ Flores, and much more! For this special Labor Day Weekend edition, we’re welcoming international globetrotter, Miami-based Julian Ingrosso to the podium!
Born in London,, raised in Milan, now residing in Miami, Julian Ingrosso has lived a very cultured life which can be heard through his music.
Growing up in a family who enjoyed both travel and music, Julian quickly found his love for both. With his father owning a record store and his older sister and uncle working in radio, he spent most of his childhood exposed to the multiple facets of the music industry.
In 2002, at the age of 17, Julian moved to the United States to continue his education at the University of Miami where he majored in Management Science and minored in Music Business. This same year, he became the resident DJ at The Mynt, one of Miami’s premier venues for house music, and it was off to the races ever since.
Taking inspiration from house DJs, Pete Tong, Felix Da Housecat and David Guetta, Julian has perfected his craft. Julian finds that house has the ability to cross over country lines and be effective in dance floors all over the world. “As long as the rhythm and melody are killer, it doesn’t matter how popular the track is or who produced it, people will dance,” says Ingrosso.
Resident at Miami’s SET, Julian now has residencies at Boston’s Bijou Nightclub and Chicago’s Board Room, and has made a name for himself as one of the best house DJs coming out of Miami.
Along with performing at some of the best venues in the US, Julian frequently travels the world, performing at some most premier venues in Turkey, Milan, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Switzerland.
