Long Meadow Ranch Winery & Farmstead is the place to be on Fat Tuesday, when the Hall family and Executive Chef Stephen Barber throw a rollicking Mardi Gras masquerade dinner to celebrate the three-year anniversary of the local gathering place and Napa Valley destination. Barber will prepare a New Orleans-inspired à la carte dinner menu, served with great wine, excellent cocktails, live New Orleans music, party favors and more.
Upon arrival, revelers can nosh on a starter menu of Crispy Fried Boudin with Cajun Pork Sausage, Rice, and Creole Mustard; Cajun Popcorn with Cornmeal Crusted Fried Crawfish Tails, and Rémoulade Sauce; Smoked Duck & Andouille Sausage Gumbo with House-made Andouille Sausage, Smoked Duck, Okra, and Rice; and Fried Oyster Po-Boy with French Bread, Oysters, Lettuce, Creole Mustard, and Dill Pickles. The dinner menu includes: Chicken & House-made Tasso Ham Jambalaya Ya-Ya; Shrimp & Crawfish Etouffee; Blackened LMR Rib-Eye; Pecan Crusted Catfish; and Fried Oyster Po-Boy; Sides will include: Red Beans & Rice; Dirty Rice; Jalapeno Cornbread and Collard Greens.
