THE P's & Q's (San Francisco)
*old-time, good-time, acoustic porch music*
Employing their trademark 3-part harmony blend, The P's & Q's skillfully weave their voices and those of their instruments into sweet porch music. From soft, contemplative ballads to rousing, toe-tapping ditties, The P’s & Q’s are sure to please even the most finicky of Americana music lovers.
With Brie McFarland (P) on banjo, ukulele, and all manner of instruments, Janese Hurley (Q) on fiddle and harmonica, and Audrey Howard (&) on guitar. The three of them sing sweet harmonies together which have become a trademark of the band. The group has wrangled James Touzel on upright bass and Beth Robinson on drums to complete the package. Keep an eye out for the band’s full-length release, “Tears, Turquoise & Tin” on iTunes. The P’s & Q’s put on a rousing live show which is by turns boot-stomping and sweetly intimate.

SHILOH & THE SUN (Bay Area)
*the full spectrum of Americana*
Growing up surrounded by Alaska’s magnificent country, Shiloh Parkerson’s values were shaped by her authentic curiosity for nature, her childlike wonder, and an open heart. All these come through now in her songwriting and stage presence. She loves the full spectrum that is Americana—from the harmonies and drive of bluegrass, soul and grit of blues, and the lively, down home flavor of alt-country/western swing.
Shiloh is influenced by the soul of Bonnie Raitt and Chris Stapleton. She seeks to create subtle nuances, such as the tender vibrato and phrasing of Billie Holiday; the fierce resonance of Aretha Franklin. She embodies charm and a power that is distinctly female. Shiloh strives to create a sound that captures the spirit of the Dustbowl Era and days gone by, guided by greats Alison Krauss, Gillian Welch, Patty Griffin and Martha Scanlan.

OLD BELLE (San Francisco)
*acoustic music full of harmony and groove*
Featuring strong female harmonies, Old Belle draw from influences diverse as old bluegrass and country greats Doc Watson and Hank Williams to contemporary acts Della Mae and Eli Morrison and Cahalen West. Combined with childhoods spent listening to 90s country and a serious love of a sing-along chorus, Old Belle is a real treat for fans of fresh, original acoustic tunes. Their deep love of music, fun, and a well-tailored Texas tuxedo makes them outgoing and entertaining performers.

THE BLUEGRASS REVOLUTION ( Bay Area)
*not too shabby*
Coming from varied musical backgrounds, members of The Bluegrass Revolution blend hints of bluegrass, alt-country, gypsy jazz, blues and progressive acoustic music all with the traditional sounds of the acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and upright bass.

HAY BABES (Oakland)
*Good Ol' Appalachia*
With their signature blend of old-time, country, and bluegrass, Hay Babes burst onto the Bay Area music scene in 2013. Boasting the double threat of Wendy and Megan at the helm, and backed by a rhythm section of two semi-vagrant callus-handed Buckaroos, Hay Babes will knock politely on the door of your heart then pull a Winchester and force entry the moment you crack the door.
