Description
Little Tragedies is a collection of pieces depicting doomed royalty throughout history. It draws from several sources...from pop culture and anime to religious symbolism. The theatricality, humor and “sweetness” of the images belie a darker, more unsettling subtext. Two of the pieces incorporate hand carved frames with time pieces which underscore the sense of finite time and mortality.
