Litquake presents the San Francisco launch of Peter Coyote's latest release, The Rainman's Third Cure: An Irregular Education. This spiritual biography explores the competing forces of the transcendental and ecstatic world of love and the competitive, status-seeking world of wealth and power. Ordained practitioner of Zen Buddhism and activist, Coyote has acted in 120 films, won an Emmy, and has co-written, directed, and performed in the play Olive Pits. Coyote will be in conversation with Phil Bronstein, a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist who is executive chair of the Center for Investigative Reporting.
