Litquake hosts the SF launch of Cintra Wilson's newest book, Fear and Clothing: Unbuckling American Style. Wilson will be in conversation with Gary Kamiya. Book sales and signing to follow. In Fear and Clothing, Wilson goes beyond the city limits and into the heartland of America to find how Middle Americans dress. Wilson is a playwright, novelist, and a past columnist for the San Francisco Examiner, Salon, and The New York Times. Kamiya is author of Cool Gray City of Love: 49 Views of San Francisco. He was a co-founder of Salon.com, with David Talbot. He is executive editor of San Francisco magazine and writes a weekly column for the San Francisco Chronicle.
