Litquake's Born to Read: Celebrating the Lyrics of Springsteen

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Born to Run, Bruce Springsteen's 1975 masterpiece album, included in the Library of Congress' roster of historic recordings. Co-presented by The Contemporary Jewish Museum, this one-of-a-kind celebration includes personal reminiscences and dramatic and musical interpretations.

With rock critic and author Ben Fong-Torres, musician Tom Heyman, author/humorist Beth Lisick, San Francisco poet laureate Alejandro Murguia, A.C.T. artistic director Carey Perloff, rock critic Joel Selvin, and music biographer and musician Sylvie Simmons.

5:30 pm VIP pre-show reception includes wine and appetizers with the performers as well as special seating.
