Portland (Oregon)-based fine artist, illustrator, and bestselling author Lisa Congdon, named one of 40 Women Over 40 to Watch in 2015, will be signing & giving a lecture on the process of creating her new book, The Joy of Swimming: A Celebration of our Love for Getting in the Water (Chronicle Books). This is a thoughtful collection of words and imagery about one of the world's most treasured pastimes and athletic endeavors.
Congdon will also welcome Adobe employee Kimberley Chambers, an avid open-water swimmer from New Zealand living in the San Francisco Bay area, to the stage for a short conversation about her inspiring journey.
