Kim Peirano, MSOM, L.Ac. is the Owner and Acupuncturist behind Lion's Heart. Kim is a graduate from the Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley and a CA State Board Licensed Acupuncturist, she has been practicing acupuncture in San Francisco and the East Bay Area since 2010. Kim's areas of expertise and specialties include Cosmetic Acupuncture & Micro-Current, Women's Health & Fertility, Pain Management, Stress Management and Neurology & Paralysis Treatment.
As a healing practitioner, Kim's main goal is to make everyone who comes into her office, and life, feel at home, welcome and free from judgement. Kim believes that acupuncture doesn't need or have to be a weird or 'new-age' experience, rather it can be an effective and normal modality of healing and preventing disease and disfunction. Kim's healing mantra is that to be healthy one must be happy, she tries to employ this into her daily life and to help her patients grow in their lives and healing journeys using the same principle. Kim's focus with each client is not to push to extremes, but to find a balanced path so that each individual can find their way to a better version of themselves in a fashion that is attainable.In addition to her acupuncture practice, Kim is a very multi-faceted and unique individual; known to some as Kimba Rose, she is a DJ, Nightlife & Music Event Producer, Artist, Jeweler and Model. Her depth of creativity, humor and intuitive abilities bring a unique nature to her treatments, setting her World's apart from other practitioners.
