Description

With a vision to create a community that breaks cultural and religious boundaries, BhangraFest brings together people from all walks of life to share its oneness through the gifts of music and dance. The Non Stop Bhangra Collective presents a brief Bhangra history, an interactive Bhangra dance lesson done to the live drums, dance performances, live dhols, an emcee, talented DJ, and vocalists! High energy and colorful from beginning to end, the show features special guests on bass, violin and tabla!

Jessie Square turns into a downtown open-air dance party with live bands playing groovin’ rhythms, from polka to salsa, swing to bhangra, and beyond. Jessie Square is located next to St. Patrick’s Church and the Contemporary Jewish Museum. First Thursdays of the month - come early for the dance lessons, stay late for the dancing!
