Left Bank Brasserie Menlo Park to Host Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration
Left Bank Brasserie in Menlo Park will be celebrating Beaujolais Nouveau, the “first wine” of the harvest season, on Thursday, November 20. The restaurant will feature Georges Dubœuf, Beaujolais-Villages, Nouveau, 2014 ($9.00 per glass, $27.00 per carafe, $36.00 per bottle), plus a celebratory $46.00 three-course prix fixe menu available for lunch and dinner along with their regular à la carte offerings. The prix fixe price excludes beverage, tax, and gratuity and each course can also be served à la carte.
Beaujolais Nouveau is a traditional French holiday that celebrates the release of the Beaujolais Nouveau wine. Made from the Gamay grape, this wine is similar to a light bodied Pinot Noir and has fresh, youthful, and fruity flavors that pair perfectly with autumn dishes. By law, it is celebrated on the third Thursday of November every year.
