Left Bank Brasserie in Menlo Park Announces Heretic Brewing Company Tap Takeover

Left Bank Brasserie in Menlo Park has announced that on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25 the restaurant will be hosting a Heretic Brewing Company Tap takeover. On both days, all day, in the bar, lounge and patio, pints of Heretic beer will be offered for $5.00 each, with select Happy Hour food menu items available for $7.00. Guests can also enjoy a paring of the two for just $10.00.

Those special parings will include a French Butter Pear Tarte with caramelized onions and Bleu d’Auvergne cheese and a glass of Petit Rouge Belgian Style Ale; Classic Tarte Flambée with caramelized onions, sautéed bacon and crème fraiche with an Evil Cousin IPA; and a Lamb Slider with harissa aïoli, watercress and French fries and a Shallow Grave Porter.

Comments General Manager Jennifer Hancox, "I think that this is the ideal way to enjoy a Northern California brewed craft beer along with food that is perfectly paired to enjoy with it. It also provides an added incentive to experience Chef de Cuisine Brendy Monsada's menu of Parisian-style brasserie cuisine with Mediterranean influences prepared with seasonal, often local sourced ingredients.

Enticing libations have long been a Left Bank hallmark and the Menlo Park location’s full bar offers classic, contemporary and original cocktails, a large pastis selection, and an award-winning list of premium and affordable French and California wines. Daily Happy Hour, at the bar and on the patio from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and again from 9:00 p.m. until close, affords the opportunity to enjoy food and beverage specials.

The restaurant's 172-seat dining room features decor elements that evoke a lively brasserie and include a natural light-filled interior, artistic inset floor tiles with fleur-de-lis accents, high ceilings with skylights, two walls of windows, cherry wood millwork accents and original Parisian posters. An engaging private room overlooks the main dining room.

Left Bank Brasserie in Menlo Park is located at 635 Santa Cruz Avenue, at Doyle Street. The restaurant is open daily, Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with weekend brunch served until 3:00 p.m. Nearby parking is readily available.
