Law Rocks! is a legal industry "battle of the bands" in which bands comprised of legal professionals each pick a designated charity and raise funds for their charity through donations, tickets sales and sponsorships. The bands perform rock/pop covers, and the net event proceeds are donated among the bands' respective charities based on the bands' total scores (determined by fundraising, audience voting and judge voting).
5 talented bands are set to perform representing law firms such as Hanson Bridgett, DLA Piper, Winston & Strawn and Cooley LLP and in-house legal departments from Gap and Zynga.
The bands will play to raise funds for the Bar Association of San Francisco, Justice and Diversity Center, The Cooperative Restraining Order Clinic, San Francisco Education Fund, Foundation for Reed Schools and George Mark Children’s House.
