Peralta Hacienda Historical Park has been selected to receive a competitive Latino Americans: 500 Years of History grant to hold public programming about Latino history and culture.
Join the opening event: "Alla en el Rancho Grande." Experience California's untold history through fun hands-on rancho activities, film on the Latino history of California "Foreigners in Their Own Land," and the new outdoor art installation!
"Latino Americans are the country's largest minority group, with more than 50 million people, and still many people are unaware of their rich and varied history and culture," said Holly Alonso, Executive Director FPHHP.
