Carlton’s guitar playing has appeared on over 100 gold albums, including those by Steely Dan, Barbara Streisand, Michael Jackson, and Joni Mitchell. His 2012 tribute album to Philly soul spent 35 weeks on the Billboard jazz charts, and March of 2013 saw the release of Unplugged with Robben Ford. His current quartet features Dennis Hamm (keyboards), Travis Carlton (bass), and Gene Coye (drums).
