La Santa Cecilia is doing so well right now that even Buzzfeed managed to write an article that isn't complete crap about them. Instead of "6,122 Totally Insane Notes from La Santa Cecilia's Latest Single That You Absolutely Need to Hear Right Now," Buzzfeed focused on the L.A. quartet's championing of undocumented immigrants rights-something to which they could bring more awareness in the wake of a 2014 Grammy win for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album. But the band's not all politics. Their music sounds like a tour of the Americas, from blues and hip-hop to cumbia and bossa nova, woven seamlessly together and fronted by the formidable vocals of La Marisoul. (Stephen Layton)
