La Mar Cebichería Peruana in San Francisco will host a Las Mercedes wine paired dinner on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, beginning with Pisco Sour cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m. Las Mercedes is one of Chile's premier wineries and their wine maker will be in attendance.
The evening’s menu, prepared by La Mar Chef Diego Oka and served at the restaurant's Chef's Table, will consist of four courses, each paired with the perfect Las Mercedes wine. Tiradito kampachi with aji amarillo leche de tigre, sweet potato and Peruvian olive chalaquita
2.- Las Mercedes, sauvignon blanc
Salmon with miso panca anticuchero garnished with a cucumber criolla salad
3.- Las Mercedes Carmenere
Grilled yellow tail tuna served on top of a majado de yucca with tamarind chorrillana sauce

Beef cheeks slowly cooked in an aji panca, red wine, huacatay and mint sauce, served with a polenta pepian with cilantro and roasted carrots
