Quantic - aka Will Holland. If you dont know then get to know, this guy is a freak musical genius who has achieved in less than a decade what most artists could only achieve in a lifetime..

Since 2001 Quantic has produced Four artist albums, Five additional albums as part of the Quantic Soul Orchestra and Limp Twins and close to 40 remixes, not to mention co-production and other monikers. His tracks have been a regular feature in the Dj sets of Mr Scruff, Gilles Peterson, Richard Dorfmeister and any other eclectic / funk / jazz dj worth their salt, Quantics production has had a profound effect on the scene and his drive to cover new musical horizons is unrelenting no two Quantic produced albums are the same. His most recent outing saw him move to south america to explore music and record with artists from Colombia, Pueto Rico and Panama to produce the most recent Quantic Soul Orchestra album Tropedelico.

Aside from being a great musician, Quantic is also great Dj, his sets full of the freshest Nu-jazz / Funk / Drum & Bass as well as the standard collection of bootlegs, white labels and rare jems from his record digging across the globe.

Blockhead makes beats. He's worked with a bunch of MC's (lots with Aesop Rock, Murs, Cage, Mike Ladd, and a bunch of others). Also does solo instrumental hip hop type shit on Ninja Tune Records .

Spain. Cuba. Jamaica. California. This extraordinary group of musicians mixes grooves and melodies from Flamenco, Reggae, Cuban Son, and North American Folk. To the stage they bring the mysterious and passionate world of Flamenco, combined with the driving, full sound of a salsa band. LoCura creates an original blend of irresistible, high energy music that bridges cultures and transcends borders. Mesmerizing flamenco footwork and solid bass lines, fiery guitar and hard-hitting percussion support rich vocals with soaring harmonies, creating a vibrant collage of sound and movement. Emotionally charged music that ignites a pulsating dance party, provides food for the soul and uplifts the spirit...a sound track to feeling alive!
Locura...one word: madness. Separated into two, lo cura: it cures it. Two words found within one, the cure within the madness. The idea that beauty and love can blossom from chaos, bringing dreams to life where another world is possible. A remedy is found in the craziness of this life, allowing the possibility for change. Through their music LoCura hopes to provide a catalyst for transformation and healing.

LoCura is one of the hottest groups emerging out of the Bay Area music scene. In March of 2008 LoCura celebrated the release of thier debut album "Animas" by selling out San Francisco's most renowned nightclub, The Great American Music Hall (650+). Over the past four years they have lived and performed in Mexico, Spain and Morocco, toured throughout California and the West Coast, and performed at major music festivals with international artists including Ojos de Brujo (Spain) Bunny Wailer (Jamaica) Nawal (Comoros) Les Nubians (France) Toots & the Maytals (Jamaica) Rupa & the April Fishes (USA) Carlihnos Brown (Brazil) Michael Franti & Spearhead (USA) Cheb I Sabbah (USA) Kinky (Mexico) K'naan (Canada) Digable Planets (USA).
