The name Klank may not immediately resonate with Christian Industrial metal fans, but Klank (AKA Daren Diolosa) began his musical career in the 90s as guitarist for Circle of Dust, who were iconic in the Christian industrial metal scene. Somewhere around the mid-90s Klank started playing solo on the side, and ultimately left to pursue his own music full time. He put music on hold in the early 2000s (and also made the move to San Jose) then re-emerged in 2007. His group (also called Klank) has already released one EP and two full lengths since his return. Instead of industrial metal, his sound has slowly evolved into heavy dance groove rock. (Aaron Carnes)
