-Kitten is the explosive and melodic indie/alt/dream pop rock incarnation of Chloe Chaidez. Inspired by LA's early punk scene, Chloe was playing bass at age 10 and opening for artists such as Midlake, Band of Horses, and Conor Oberst by age 12. In 2009, Chloe and Bryan DeLeon formed Kitten, and over the course of four years, released three EPs, opened for groups such as No Doubt, Young The Giant, Paramore, and Charlie XCX, and changed band line-ups three times. Kitten is powerful and ever-changing, emanating youth and spirit.
With a blend of the ferocious power of the late '70s post punk and the sonic textures and rhythms of British new wave, Kitten performs with a sense of purpose and emotional delicacy all too rare for today. Chloe has been described by Spin.com as having "a raw power and believability as a performer." Energetic and exciting, Kitten is steadily making itself known. - See more at: http://www.bottomofthehill.com/20140724.html#.U82hQIBdUys
