Kinokuniya San Franicsco presents "Kino Art SF": Local Artist Exhibition!

First exhibition: February 1 ~ 21, 2016

Kinokuniya Books Stores of America San Francisco store opens a new exhibition space for Bay Area local artists. The “Kino Art SF” will showcase a new Bay Area artist each month, exhibiting their creativity and passion for art. By offering a unique space for the artist, Kinokuniya San Francisco will bring together the book community and the local art scene. The “Kino Art SF” show will kick off with artist Thuy Le on February 1, on view until February 21. Opening reception will be held on Saturday, February 6 at 4pm.

Any artist residing in the San Francisco Bay Area is welcomed to submit for a potential showing. Each artist will have approximately three weeks to exhibit their work at the San Francisco store’s exhibition space located next to the second floor staircase. In addition, Kinokuniya will cross promote on all of their social media for full exposure.

About Thuy Le
Thuy Le (Thuy Le) is a visual designer, sculptor, and fine art painter. Le’s exhibition will consist of abstract oil paintings, which will represent meditation, yoga, reiki, and the harmony of yin yang. Visit her website at http://www.thuylestudio.com/.

Le is also studying interior design and currently works at a design firm. She is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and International Interior Design Association. She will offer free art advice for residential space during her openening reception on Saturday, February 6, 2016.

She will also offer free residential space advice during the dates of her exhibition (Feb 1 ~ 21) via email at [email protected].
