Kings of Leon are currently on tour to support their newest album, Mechanical Bull, with a pit stop in San Jose. Founded in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1999, Kings of Leon is comprised of brothers Anthony Caleb Followill on lead vocals, rhythm guitar, and Ivan Nathan Followill on drums, percussion, and backing vocals; and Michael Jared Followill on bass guitar, and backing vocals, and their cousin Cameron Matthew Followill on lead guitar and backing vocals. During their early years, the band's sound consisted of an upbeat blend of Southern rock and blues influences, but has gradually expanded to include a variety of genres and a more alternative, arena rock sound. Their best known songs include "Sex on Fire", "Use Somebody", and "Notion."
