Please join me for a Book Release party for my dear friend, Kerry Reichs, on Thursday, May 8, from 6 - 8 PM here at Frey Norris Gallery. Kerry's novel, The Best Day of Someone Else's Life blends equal parts “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” “Bridget Jones's Diary,” and for you literary types, Raymond Carver.

Harper Collins and Borders will be on hand for those who would like to learn more about how to leave a lucrative, high-profile East Coast law firm and move to California to write a novel destined for Hollywood. And of course, darling Kerry will grace us with a reading from one of the many hilarious bits in the book before she continues on her international book tour.

For those men craving a healthy dose of sophisticated chick lit, I dare say the book could shed light on why women are such complex creatures.
