Charles Kunta Kente Williams (Bowens) was Born October 21, 1977 In Brewton Alabama to 22 year old Shirley Jean Williams and 47 year old Charles Kalvin Bowens. In a desperate attempt to relocate his family back to California, Mr. Bowens Kidnapped 6 month old Charles (Kunte) and his older sister Voltaire D. Bowens forcing their mother to move from her home town of Brewton Alabama to Oakland California and thats when the Legacy of Keak Da Sneak Begins. Keak found popularity while attending Allendale Elementary School, which he parlayed into later friendships and talent show performances at Oakland's Bret Harte Junior High. Through theater he met his collaborator Agerman. Together, they formed Dual Committee and later they added rapper B.A. to form the group 3X Krazy. Citing the personal growth of all three artists, he later signed as a solo artist with Sacramento-based Moe Doe records. At this point, he began to receive more radio airplay with his smash hits "Super Hyphy", "White T Shirt Blue Jeans and Nikies", and "Tell Me When to Go" With E40. He has collaborated with major artists and had videos played on MTV, MTV2 & BET. Keak was even featured on MTV's My Super Sweet 16. In 2013 Keak is Working on his New upcoming album "Copium ll" and is also getting ready to drop a new single, so get Ready Because The King of The Super Duper Hyphy is Back and coming even harder then before!!!
