You probably know some of the people that work for The Company in San Francisco. There’s the IT prodigy who’s bored out of his mind, the office manager who can’t catch a break, the dreamer in legal who longs for a creative life, and the deep thinker who started it all. When The Company make a controversial decision, its employees are forced to examine their morals and what it means to show up to work every day. Come see how they deal with the matter that is not all black and white, because you might discover you’re part of their team too.

Artist Biography
Julie Katz is a performer and writer living in San Francisco. She transplanted herself here from New York City where she spent millions of hours performing musical improv, non-musical improv, sketch comedy, solo pieces, soundpainting, and plays in various basement and above ground theaters. She has performed in many cities across America and internationally in places like Canada. She has completed the advanced study improv training program at Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater in New York and received her BFA in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. You can find her teaching improv at Endgames (endgamesimprov.com) or performing with Vagina Jones (find them on Facebook), an all female improv team with a monthly jam encouraging those who identify as female to get on stage and improvise. She is also a member of Hatch Collective (hatchperformance.org) with whom this piece was originally produced. Julie is honored and extremely excited to be performing at The Marsh.
