Join The Napa Valley Wine Train for its New Private Reserve Train on Friday, 8/26

What: The Napa Valley Wine Train is pleased to announce the launch of the new Private Reserve train. Beginning Friday, August 26, Private Reserve will feature a monthly series of winemaker dinners to be held on the 36-seat restyled Pullman railcar as it transports guests past idyllic Napa Valley scenery. Guests will enjoy a four-course gourmet dinner paired with wines from featured local wineries and will have access to the winemakers as they will be on board to discuss the pairings and tasting notes in depth.
The inaugural Private Reserve wine dinner will roll out on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. featuring wines from Raymond Vineyards. Jean-Charles Boisset, president of Boisset Family Estates and owner of Raymond Vineyards, will be available to guests and will collaborate with Napa Valley Wine Train’s Executive Chef Donald Young to create the bespoke paired menu. Sample menu items include Porcini Dusted Filet of Beef paired with Raymond’s Generations Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2013, Grilled Duck Sausage paired with JCB No 22 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2013 and Pacific Smoked Salmon Carpaccio paired with LVE Chardonnay Napa Valley 2014.
