John Batdorf started his music career when he landed his first major record deal with Atlantic back in the 1970s as the songwriting and lead vocal half of Batdorf and Rodney. Once he joined his next group Silver, he began to tour with major acts such as America, The Doobie Brothers, Poco and Hall and Oats. Since then, he has been involved in a variety of projects, but continues to perform and write songs, and has won critical recognition for his albums. Joining on the fun is Bay Area-based plays a unique blend of folk, rock, blues and singer-songwriter soulfulness to compliment the songs of Mr. Batdorf.
