SF Station Seeks Street Marketing Team
SF Station is offering internship positions for Street Marketing Reps to cover festival/street fair promotions, live music/club promotions, film promotions, and food and drink promotions.
We're looking for motivated, responsible, and dedicated folks to be part of our San Francisco Street Team. This promotional team will be responsible for handing out flyers to the appropriate locations and demographic while promoting SF Station! A significant part of being part of the SF Station Street Team is to represent SF Station at certain events like festivals, street fairs, and movie screenings. This is a great way to gain valuable marketing experience by working for an established and alternative online city guide.
Must be a social, outgoing, high-energy individual who is enthusiastic about promotions and marketing! If you are interested in helping SF Station promote one or more of its various events, please contact us at the above email. Descriptions and responsibilities are listed below. Street teams members are required to be available for each type of promotional event.

Note that this is not a paid internship, however school credit will be issued.
Music/Club Promotions
Duties:
- Pass out flyers/stickers hand to hand at events, and nightclubs
- Flyer/sticker drops at retail stores in targeted areas of Bay Area
- Pick up flyers and postcards to bring back to office for Production
- Must be 21+ and be able to get around by car
Benefits:
- Free entry into clubs/music venues/film screenings, etc.
- A better understanding of how live shows and clubs are developed and marketed
- Great way to develop contacts in the music industry!
- Good marketing and promotions experience and a great reference to add to your resume
- Fun!
Internship term: 3 months
Film Promotions
Duties:
- Pass out movie passes hand-to- hand to appropriate areas and locations
- Movie passes drops at retail locations in targeted areas of Bay Area
- Distribute movie passes and schwag to screening give away winners
Benefits:
- Free entry into clubs/music venues/film screenings, etc.
- A better understanding of how films are marketed are promoted
- Great way to develop contacts
- Good marketing and promotions experience and a great reference to add to your resume
- Fun!
Internship term: 3 months
Festival/Street Fair Promotions
Duties:
- Pass out SF Station flyers to people at festivals and street fairs
- Help put together booth and banner at sponsored festivals and street fairs
- Be behind the booth to represent SF Station and assist in giveaways
Benefits:
- Free entry into clubs/music venues/film screenings, etc.
- A better understanding of how festivals/street fairs are marketed and promoted
- Great way to develop contacts
- Good marketing and promotions experience and a great reference to add to your resume
- Fun!
Internship term: 3 months
Food/Drink Promotions
Duties:
- Pass out flyers to people nearby restaurants/bars and other hot spots (e.g. 16th and 24th street)
Benefits:
- Free entry into clubs/music venues/film screenings, etc.
- A better understanding of how the food industry is marketed and promoted
- Great way to develop contacts
- Good marketing and promotions experience and a great reference to add to your resume
- Fun!
