This high-impact day of service brings together over one hundred and fifty Jewish volunteers from various organizations and congregations to join with other volunteers in serving those most vulnerable in our community during Hanukkah.
Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) partners with Project Homeless Connect, an award-winning national best practice model that originated in San Francisco, acting as a one-stop shop of health and human services for homeless San Franciscans. On Jewish Volunteer Day (12/11) our volunteers provide critical support as client escorts, providing food packages, completing surveys with clients, or engaging in specialized services.
