Jerome Caja Terrible Beauty Award

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Visual Aid has chosen Mark Paron and Elena Zolotnitsky to receive the first annual Jerome Caja Terrible Beauty Award, in recognition of outstanding work and achievement in the arts. Gallery Paule Anglim is pleased to present an exhibition of recent works by the artists. The award is supported by a grant from the Jerome Caja estate.

Originally from Moscow, Elena Zolotnitsky has developed a strong career in painting. Her figurative style is rooted in the Social Realism style of 1920's Russia. On canvas and paper her images develop from planes of color.

Mark Paron has enlivened common materials into dynamic and witty shapes. For over 20 years he has exhibited work in San Francisco.
