Meet Jeff Halper, a world-renowned political activist, Professor of Anthropology, co-founder of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD). Halper lives in Israel, having moved from the U.S. in 1973. The evening will include an optional potluck where you will meet others interested in this topic and share a meal with the presenter. Halper will discuss his recently published book, War Against the People: Israel, the Palestinians and Global Pacification. Simultaneously a deeply researched expose and a clarion call, War Against the People is a bold attempt to shine the light on the daily injustices visited on a civilian population -and thus hasten their end.
