The inventor of iPod accessories and founder of the company that helped change the face of consumer electronics has returned to the iPod as his source of inspiration. Jeff Grady has procured thousands of recycled iPods over a span of years to create mosaic motifs of digital and 8-bit icons for his first gallery show. Many of the pieces are nods to Grady's favorite vintage video games from the 70s and 80s.
Grady has also created a heart-shaped piece that will be auctioned at the event to benefit Music In Schools Today (MUST) and their new STEAM program initiatives.
"Music In Schools Today plays an invaluable role in facilitating, supporting and establishing music programs in schools, and this is something that can change lives.”
