Award-Winning Filmmaker & Founder of The Webby Awards, Tiffany Shlain to do
a public interview Feb 18th in SF at SF JCC Arts & Ideas Lecture Feb 18th:
8pm

Honored by Newsweek as one of the "Women Shaping the 21st Century," Tiffany
Shlain is a filmmaker and founder of The Webby Awards. This will be the
first time she will discuss and show clips from her new feature
film-in-production, “Connected: A Declaration of Interdependence.” She will
also give an update on her film, “The Tribe,” (winner of 15 awards, #1 film
on iTunes, selected at Sundance and 100 film festivals) an exploration of
American Jewish identity through the history of the Barbie doll and her work
founding and running The Webby Awards.

Her films are filled with humor, animation and found footage used to unravel
complicated subjects like politics, cultural identity, technology and
science.

Presented in partnership with The San Francisco Film Society and The San
Francisco Jewish Film Festival
