Please join Chinatown’s monthly World Literature Book Club for a stimulating discussion of Sense and Sensibility, Jane Austen’s classic novel in which the charming Dashwood sisters battle class prejudice and other obstacles in their quest for love and marriage.

Our group meets the first Thursday of each month. All Library events are free and open to the public. New members are always welcome!

Here are the Book Club Selections for the first half of 2016:

February 4: Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

March 3: Voices from Chernobyl by Svetlana Alexievich

April 7: The Golden Gate by Vikram Seth

May 5: Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan

June 2: Nightwood by Djuna Barnes
