After growing up in San Francisco during the "comedy boom" of the 1980s, it was no surprise when Jacob Sirof announced he was going make stand-up comedy his profession. He began his career as a local comic, but soon found himself invited to take part in the world famous "Just for Laughs" festival in Montreal, which was followed up by television appearances on E! and Comedy Central. He currently lives in Santa Monica, CA, which is probably a lot nicer than where you live. Jacob would love to do comedy forever, although he is a mere mortal, and will most likely die someday.
