Gilroy hip-hop duo J Won and Joe Bust--or as they sometimes refer to themselves as, "J Won the Producer and the Mighty Joe Busto"--began collaborating in 2011. In the few years they've been working together they have proven quite a prolific team--dropping three EPs in the last year alone. Their most recent, "So Fresh," was released on Jan. 10 this year. Their beats toggle between club bangers and surreal, underground tracks. Joe Bust is the primary vocalist, with J Won, punching in on occasion. They mix up gritty true stories, clever wordplay and the occasional punch line.
