Iyengar Yoga Workshop: Finding Freedom Within with Stephanie Quirk

Part of the joy of a yoga intensive is that it releases us (at least momentarily) from the confines of time, providing space to open up into more subtle explorations of our asana, breath and self. The progressive practice of asana and pranayama create a safe vessel for the inner practices of meditation and absorption to then arise. As the intensive comes to a close we then have to skillfully return to our outer lives which are conditioned by time without losing that inner space and freedom. This is called yogic “skill in action”.

Stephanie Quirk will lead us through a transformational cycle of practice with an underlying theme of exploring the Hatha Yoga Pradipika including Mudras, Bandhas and Kriyas.
