Join Chinatown Library's World Literature Book Club for an enjoyable discussion of Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities. In Calvino's enchanting novella Marco Polo regales the aging Mongol emperor Kublai Khan with tales of exotic and fantastical cities that he encountered at the ends of the sovereign’s vast empire. Polo’s poetic sketches of cities alternate with short dialogues between himself and the curious emperor.
