| Description The SJ Arts Group [SJAG], an organization dedicated to supporting charities who help women and children in need, will present "Independent Artists Against Violence on Women". The event will showcase paintings and photography from Bay Area artists. Attendees can view beautiful works by local artists and participate in raffle drawings for a variety of prizes. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to WOMAN, Inc. (www.womaninc.org), a domestic violence charity based in San Francisco. The community-based, multi-service agency was created in 1978 with the mission to help make violence against women non-existent.The exhibit features rising Bay Area artist Carla Ginsberg ( http://www.carlaginsberg.com ) |
