Description
Incompletely Visible: The Legacy of the Bay Area Missions explores the daily lives of the Catholic missionaries, Spanish soldiers and Native Americans who established a rudimentary agrarian society along California’s Pacific Coast. This collaborative exhibition draws upon a selection of The Society’s rare photographs, maps and drawings and a wealth of artifacts from Mission Dolores and The Presidio. Incompletely Visible also features an educational DVD with commentary from noted scholars Dr. Kevin Starr, Andrew Galvan, Rose Marie Beebe, Bob Senkewicz and Eric Blind.
